The Brookhaven City Council approved a 28-unit townhome development on North Druid Hills Road on Tuesday.
The homes rest on the former site of North Atlanta Bible Chapel at 1475 North Druid Hills Road, according to Reporter Newspapers.

The vote came after months of dispute between the developer and surrounding neighbors.The application was deferred by the Council several times in an attempt to give the developer and residents time to work out a compromise. But many neighbors still came to the council’s meeting to voice their concerns about traffic and density.
