Officer Alex Cushenan of the Chamblee PD gives his weekly report, as well as this story of a not-too-bright suspect.
After leaving the scene, Officer Ellestad turned around about a block later, returning to find the same log in the same spot, forcing traffic to swerve into the opposite lane and almost causing head on collisions. The officer again removed the log. But this time he parked his vehicle out of sight and walked back. He observed from behind some bushes, the suspect run from a driveway and place the log in the road. The suspect ran back to the driveway and hide behind a vehicle.
