Britton Alvah Smith of Atlanta was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. To qualify for the honor, a student must have earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 10 credit hours of coursework. Samford University is consistently ranked in the top tier of its peer group by U.S. News & World Report. Founded in 1841, it is the largest private university in Alabama with more than 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled annually.
