Now in the spot of the old Library Coffee, The One Sushi Plus is looking for employees.
Looks like The One Sushi Plus is moving closer to a grand opening. In the site of the old Library Coffee, The One Sushi Bar is owned by the same people who own Ichiban Steak & Sushi, according to an UrbanSpoon listing. The restaurant's website says it will be opening in late November, but given the fact that there's only a couple of days left in the month, we're not going to count on that.

The sushi restaurant moving into the old Library Coffee has announced its pending arrival.
Patch has been making regular drive-bys of the old Library Coffee location, waiting to see when the rumored sushi restaurant would be moving in. And while we still don't have a date or even a formal announcement, it seems as if the new occupant is called The One Sushi Bar. At least, that's what the sign says, which we spotted late last week. Stay tuned.

After more than three years as an original anchor for Village Place, Library Coffee is closing its doors at the end of the month. Owner Brian Kahan posted this item on his store's Facebook page on May 14: "After an awesome three and a half year run we are closing our doors on May 31st. While it is truly sad to close our doors, I have an amazing offer and life opportunity that I simply cannot pass up. Brookhaven has been part of my life for 11 years and our goal when we opened up was to try and give Brookhaven it's own independent meeting space/café. Wine connoisseurs and novices alike strolled between four different businesses enjoying many different wine specials and food parings on Saturday afternoon. Participating restaurants included Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub, Verde Taqueria, Pour Wine Market and Tasting Room, and Library Coffee Company. This was a Pre-Event for the Brookhaven Arts Fest with a portion of the proceeds from Saturday's Art Stroll benefiting the Brookhaven Arts Alliance.
