Some Sad Faces Result From Brookhaven Bruster's Closing

One of the casualties of the new Kroger construction going on in Cherokee Plaza has been the Brookhaven Bruster's. The store was also the home of Nathan's Hot Dogs. Several people were on Twitter over the weekend, lamenting the loss of the Bruster's, including Atlanta sports radio personality Steak Shapiro. My wife and son will particularly miss the store's banana-split specials, in which you could bring your own fruit to the store for a specially made treat. Do you miss the Bruster's in Cherokee Plaza?
