Georgia Shakespeare Celebrates 25th Year with Holiday Production

Today's show is the final production of the season

Why would a Shakespeare Company choose to put on "A Christmas Story?" As Artistic director Richard Garner notes in the program, "It's because Georgia Shakespeare is committed to the classics in all forms and this is a real American classic that fits right in with our mission of bringing to life the best stories from all eras." The show is the culminating production of the company's 25th Anniversary Season at Oglethorpe University – the longest and most ambitious season in Georgia Shakespeare's history, according to spokesperson Stacey Lucas.
