A woman called a North Dakota radio station earlier this week and shared
her plans to address the unhealthy eating habits of local children.
This Halloween, overweight children who visit her house will get a
letter instead of candy.
In the letter, posted on the Y94 website,
the woman explained that any recipient of the letter has been deemed
"moderately obese" and "should not be consuming sugar and treats to the
extent of some children this Halloween season."
"My hope is that
you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not
allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits," the letter
parents allow their overweight children to trick or treat? Should
anyone withhold candy from children he or she deems to be overweight?
