Brookhaven Holding Town Hall, Tree Lighting This Week
Council expected to vote on budget following Tuesday meeting.
The Brookhaven City Council will host a town hall meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at Oglethorpe University, Lupton Auditorium, 4484 Peachtree Road NE. For details, click here.
The following day, Tuesday, Dec. 17, the mayor and council will hold a work session at 3:30 p.m. and a city council meeting at 4:30, again in Lupton Auditorium. The council is expected to vote on the 2014 budget. After the meeting, the mayor and council will attend a public Brookhaven birthday event on the Green at Town Brookhaven at 7.
Then, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Blackburn Park, the city will host a tree lighting and time capsule burial marking the city's incorporation anniversary.
