Oglethorpe Presbyterian: Habitat for Humanity House

Work has begun on Oglethorpe Presbyterian's tenth Habitat house! Volunteers of all skill levels are invited to participate.  Tools and know-how are provided by Atlanta Habitat so sign up in the OPC lobby or contact Jeff Morris at 770.452.1799 or morrii@earthlink.net

Carpoolers leave the OPC parking lot at 7:30am.  Saturday workdays are from 8am to 4pm. Punctuality is important as home buyer introductions and safety information is given at the start of each day. Plan to stay the entire day to clean the site and load the trailer.

Habitat provides all tools and materials. You only need to bring your completed Release and Waiver forms. If you choose to bring personal tools (hand tools only), please mark them clearly as yours. Do not bring valuables or leave anything in your car.

Wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not recommended. Work boots or no-skid, thick-sole shoes are best. Sandals or open-toe shoes are not allowed on the work site.
