The Ashford Park Civic Association Friends of the Park group will have a spring clean-up in , at the corner of Caldwell Road and Redding Road, on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Volunteers from the community are needed and older children accompanied by a parent or adult wile working are encouraged to help clean.
Volunteers will work to spread pine straw, clean up leaves and trash, clean up the play equipment, pressure wash areas around the building and clearing some minor brush from the park area.
