Three of the schools have active alumni clubs in the Atlanta area and are hosting other game watching and Final Four events.
In and email to Patch, Brian Daniels of the University of Louisville Alumni Club of Atlanta said they will have a pregame rally at 200 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta Saturday at 2pm. Louisville fans will cheer on their men's team playing in here in Atlanta as well as their women's team playing in the Final Four in New Orleans. Daniels said Cardinal fans should check their website for the latest information.
According to the University of Michigan Club of Atlanta’s website, Wolverine fans and alumni may also watch the game at two other local locations. Pepperoni's in Alpharetta and Whitehall Tavern in Atlanta.
“Our main game watching event will be at the Hudson Grille in Sandy Springs,” said Syracuse University Alumni Club of Atlanta president Ian Thompson. “For those people who aren’t going to the game and want to be around Syracuse fans, they can go there.” Thompson also notes the plenty of free parking at the Roswell Road restaurant.
Orange fans and alumni are also gathering at the Hudson Grille downtown closer to the Georgia Dome. The address is 120 Marietta Street, Atlanta, Ga. The local Syracuse alumni club is also hosting several other Final Four festivities. Those events will be updated on their Facebook page.
