FREE Improvisation Class (ages 7-14)

Forefront Arts is offering a FREE trial class of our Improvisation class for ages 7-14 at St James United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 13, 4:30-5:30 pm.

(September 13 is the first day and the class will run through December 13 with a performance on the last day.)

During the Improv class our students will learn the "rules" of improvisational performance and will practice them using fun games and activities. Using improv and theatre exercises, acting and vocal technique, and character-building creative play we'll work together to write, rehearse, and stage our own show of improvised scenes. Students will perform an improv showcase for parents at the end of the semester. If you've ever seen the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway" you know how much fun improv can be!  What a great way to boost confidence and develop public-speaking and teamwork skills while having fun!
