Diamond Petrels get a Taste of Big Leagues

The men's baseball team will enjoy the luxuries of playing at a Major League Baseball facility on Tuesday afternoon when they face Hampden-Sydney College at the home of the Gwinnett Braves' Coolray Field.

First pitch against Hampden-Sydney is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Coolray Field, (formerly known as Gwinnett Stadium) which is a 10,475-seat state-of-the art baseball park in Lawrenceville, Ga. that hosted its first regular season baseball game on April 17, 2009. The Petrels will enjoy the sights and sounds of a major league baseball atmosphere as the center field scoreboard will display player photos throughout the contest.
