Perfect Client Gifts

Looking for holiday gifts for your clients? Check out some of these ideas that will help you make a great impression!

'Tis the season for tubs of fancy popcorn, towering boxes of treats, and the occasional box of pears (I've never understood the latter myself). Before you send another gift basket to a client, let me make a few suggestions.

1) Give them something they'll use with your logo on it so your brand is exposed to their friends and colleagues. Sure, you could do a mug, but add a Starbucks gift card and a breakfast pastry to make it more special.

2) Get them treats, but package them in a re-usable container with your company name on it . . . I like the ones at the MacBeth Collection myself. They have over a hundred cute patterns. In years past, we've purchased the window box and stuffed it with goodies for clients.

3) Buy treats, but buy from local vendors:

  • Breadwinner has insanely delicious, moist breads. Really, they're like bread-shaped cakes. These have become a client fave so I keep sending these out each year. The cranberry-orange loaf is ridiculous (their cute name for it is "Frankly, my Dear, I dont' Give a Cran").
  • Send a fresh fruit bouquet from Edible Arrangements. They look like floral bouquets, only they're made of fruit. These have a nice visual impact and help you stand out from the rest of the holiday clutter - plus they're great for health-conscious clients.
  • Shop some of our Brookhaven bakeries: grab some cupcakes from The Cup or The Sugar Shack. Wrap a ribbon and attach an ornament and you have a cute, simple gift.

Still want to send a basket? Don't want to extend any effort beyond clicking? You can do a basket AND still shop locally: check out the great gift basket ideas at Sensational Baskets. This woman-owned business is headquartered in Alpharetta. Their website's a bit dated-looking, but don't let that put you off. The gift baskets are clever and delightful.

None of these ideas working for you? Check out my boards on Pinterest for other gift-giving suggestions.
