U.S. News: Chamblee Charter High Ranked Fifth in Georgia

U.S. News & World Report released its high school rankings Tuesday.

Chamblee Charter High School is the fifth-best high school in Georgia, according to U.S. News & World Report.

The school is one of two to make the magazine's list of the top 10 high schools in Georgia. DeKalb School of the Arts in Avondale Estates came in at No. 2.

No. 1? Gwinnett School of Science, Technology and Mathematics. (It also nabbed a mind-blowing No. 3 ranking nationally.)

Chamblee Charter High also popped in at No. 317 nationally, just behind Tenafly High School in New Jersey. The school received a College Readiness rating of 53.3 based on the number of students who took AP exams and those that passed those exams.

That number falls within a scale of one to 100. The No. 1 school in the nation – School for the Talented and Gifted in Dallas – received a 100 rating.
