Three Petrel Athletes Named SAA Players of the Week
Two volleyball players and one soccer star were honored this week.
Three Oglethorpe University athletes were named conference players of the week by the Southern Athletic Association Tuesday.
Oglethorpe volleyball swept both offensive and defensive player of the week honors, with sophomore outside hitter McKenna Bondarenko taking home offensive honors and sophomore libero Megan MaKuck snagging defensive honors.
In addition, Oglethorpe freshman goalkeeper Bailey Evans took women’s soccer defensive player of the week honors.
