Parents Council Meeting to Address Redistricting, SPLOST

The group is scheduled to meet at Ashford Park School Wednesday morning.

The Dunwoody-Chamblee Parent Council (DCPC) will discuss Wednesday morning issues surrounding next steps with the SPLOST, overcrowding, and redistricting during its monthly meeting at in Brookhaven.

The meeting - which alternates locations throughout the year - will begin at 9:15 a.m. Refreshments will be served at 8:15 a.m.

Additional items on the agenda include:

  • Vision for New Austin Elementary School
  • Timing for new schools for Chestnut, Kingsley, Huntley, and Montgomery Elementary School areas.
  • Addressing the overcrowding at Peachtree Charter Middle School and Dunwoody High School.
  • Overcrowding at Hightower Elementary School.

Meetings are open and topics are geared toward the interests of parents and guardians with children in Dunwoody and Chamblee schools.
