Marist Hosting Paint Recycling Day

The school will take paint cans for $1 and carloads for $10.

Can't find a place to recycle your old paint cans?

will take them.

The school will  host a Paint Recycling Day on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. until Noon. The event is open to the public.

This event is part of the school’s Terra Project and Environmental Club, which will allow individuals to dispose of their old and unused paint cans, while helping the environment.

Most waste/recycle collections will not take paint cans. Marist, however, has partnered with Williams Paint Recycling who will fully reconstitute the collected paint to make it usable again, which saves it from going to landfills.

The cost is $1 per gallon can, up to $10 for a full carload (cash only). Please direct any questions to Marist School’s Sustainability Coordinator, Amelia Luke.
