Marist Evening Series Returns in 2012

The Marist Evening Series - three consecutive sessions of adult classes offered at the Brookhaven private school - will return at the beginning of 2012.

The courses, which run from January to February, are available to community members to lean directly from faculty and staff.

The Marist School's website said the series is intended to stretch the adult learner's creativity, "discover ways to better understand your children, think globally, and explore aspects of the Christian faith."

The courses will run three consecutive Monday nights:Β  Jan. 23; Jan. 30; and Feb. 6, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The series includes 20 offerings in the following areas:

  • Religion/Spirituality
  • Art & Photography
  • Computer Applications
  • History and Culture
  • Literature
  • And special offerings, including CPR Certification and Football Talk.

Early bird discounts are available if students register by Jan. 13. All courses will be held at Marist.
