Local Student Gets Top Honors

A Brookhaven woman has made the Dean's List at Denison University.

A Brookhaven college student has achieved top academic honors.

Madeline Jones-MillsΒ was one of 314 students named to Denison University's 2012 spring semester Dean's List by Provost Bradley Bateman. Students who achieve Dean's List status have maintained a grade point average of 3.7 or better (out of 4.0) for the semester. Jones-Mills is a member of the Denison class of 2013.

Denison University, founded in 1831, is an independent, residential liberal arts institution located in Granville, Ohio. A highly selective college enrolling 2,100 full-time undergraduate students from all 50 states and dozens of foreign countries, Denison is a place where innovative faculty and motivated students collaborate in research, civic engagement, and the cultivation of independent thinking.
