Local resident Amandha Darius, a student at , has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars.
The society recognizes top high school scholars and only invites students who have demonstrated superior academic excellence.
Being a society member entitles students to benefits like scholarships, events, competitions, member-only resources, study abroad opportunities and more.
In its tenth year, the society now has more than 800,000 members in more than 160 countries around the world. It was founded by Claes Nobel, a member of the family behind the Nobel prizes.
