Kittredge Wins Blue Ribbon Award

Kittredge is the only DeKalb County school, and one of eight in Georgia, to be recognized.

The U.S. Department of Education has announced the 2012 list of National Blue Ribbon Schools and Kittredge Magnet School is on the list.

Kittredge was named an Exemplary High Performing school.

“This is an outstanding honor for this school,” said Superintendent
Dr. Cheryl Atkinson in a press release. “The Kittredge staff weaves high levels of academic rigor throughout every course from core subjects to extracurriculars, and as a result, the school helps children become high-level thinkers at an
early age.”
