The Tiny Homes Project

The Tiny Homes project is about making a small 100 square foot living commodity out of recycled material. The recycled material that you will be using is paper crete mixed with dirt to create the material for the walls of the house.

There are three separate stations where people will:
1) soak and shred paper and use a drill to mix the paper with water
2) gather dirt from the track field and the front of the Schmidt Center with two wheelbarrows
3) mix the paper crete and dirt together thoroughly and dump the mixture into 2ft by 2ft frames.  (This will all make more sense when the actual process is being done)

Meet in the basement of Robinson.  The basement is only accessible through the back of the building. Volunteers are needed every Friday for the rest of the semester form 9am - 5pm.  There are only 2 bricks so far and about 100 bricks are needed to finish the process, so the more volunteers the easier this process will be.
