Featured Event: Sales Tax for Transportation?

The Urban Ecology Program is hosting the Executive Director of the Atlanta Regional Commission for a lecture on the upcoming referendum that could fund regional transportation initiatives with a penny sales tax. If passed, this tax would help fund several “green” projects like the Atlanta BeltLine (www.beltline.org) and the streetcar (www.atlantadowntown.com/initiatives/atlanta-streetcar

 

This will take place at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art and is free and open to the public.
