An Introduction to the Marist Way of Life
Have you thought about what it means to “be Marist?” In addition to your experience as a parent, alumnus or friend of Marist, have you ever explored or discussed the unique spirituality of the Society of Mary, the founding congregation of Marist School?
The Marist Way is a worldwide movement exploring the “way of life” of the Society of Mary, founded nearly two hundred years ago by the Venerable Jean Claude Colin. This course will explore the Society of Mary’s mission and how its spirit is reflected in the life of Marist School. It will also present how all associated with Marist School can support and play a role in the Society of Mary’s “worldwide lay movement” and mission.
As an introductory course it intends to address those with limited knowledge of the Society of Mary.
