Chamblee Middle, Chamblee High Join International Partnership Program

They are the first in Georgia to join the program.

Β

Chamblee Charter High and Chamblee Middle schools have been selected to join a prestigious international foreign schools joint partnership program.

They are the first schools in Georgia invited to join the German PASCH Program - an international schools partnership program coordinated by the Federal Foreign Office and implemented in cooperation with the Central Agency for
Schools Abroad, the Goethe-Institut, the Educational Exchange Service of
the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs
of the States in the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Academic
Exchange Service.

PASCH schools offer the Deutsche Sprachdiplom (DSD) or German Language Diploma, an examination offered to students outside Germany and administered by the German Central Agency for Schools Abroad.

Students who achieve the highest level of this examination DSD II are certified to have achieved proficiency at the level necessary to enroll in university study in Germany. If the students so choose, they are eligible to study at the undergraduate or graduate level in Germany having thus accomplished the language requirements for foreign students, and at a considerably lower cost than in the United States.

For the past two years, Chamblee Charter High has led the region in the number of students achieving proficiency on the German Language Diploma.
