Ashford Park Elementary Hosts Open House
Parents and students are invited to see the school, meet their teachers and drop off school supplies.
Ashford Park Elementary is holding a sneak peek and open house event from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10.
The sneak peek, held in the school cafeteria, will feature the school PTA, school store, after school programs, spirit wear and more. Families can then look at their students' classrooms, meet the teachers and drop off school supplies from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to see a supply list for Ashford Park.
Don't forget to bring proof of residency--it is required at the beginning of every school year.

Also note the new procedure for dismissal at Ashford Park. Families will receive one hang tag for car rearview mirrors printed with an ID number and the primary method of afternoon pickup, including bus rider, carpool, after school program and walker. Children will receive ID cards and lanyards with this same information. A suggested donation of $2 to cover the cost of the tags is accepted. Families needing more hang tags can get them at the open house event.
