Selected participants in the The Governor's Honors Program, which is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors, will spend four weeks at Valdosta State University. This summer'sΒ  program will be its 50th. It is the longest continually running program of its kind
in the nation, DCSD says.

The Georgia General Assembly funds the program, so there is no cost for students to attend, according to DCSD.
