UNC Students Now Co-Own The Brookhaven

Students from the business school have partnered with two real estate firms to purchase the 17-story condo.

The University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School partnered with Admiral Capital Group and Wood Partners to purchase The Brookhaven, a 17-story condominium building.

CoStar reports that UNC’s business school made the investment on behalf of its student-managed real estate fund.

The Brookhaven is a 251,280-square-foot complex at 3833 Peachtree Road. Developed in 1985, its 209 units were renovated in 2008. Wood Partners plans to modernize the property with upgraded features and common space.

Leonard Wood, a company founder, earned his business degree from the university. Admiral, co-founded by NBA legend and philanthropist David Robinson, was formed to generate attractive returns for investors and expand on Robinson's community commitment, focused on education.

Selling price was not announced.
