Where Would You Put Brookhaven's Permanent City Hall?

City officials continue to look for a new home for city operations after its planned departure from Dunwoody City Hall in December.

Brookhaven city officials continue to search for a new and permanent home for city operations.

The city is scheduled to leave its temporary home in Dunwoody City Hall by Dec. 31, according to The Brookhaven Post.

From the Post's story Tuesday:

The search, spanning over 6 months, has been quite the task. With the main objective being to get the Police, Court, and City Administration all in the same location, while that sounds nice, has proven to be rather difficult given the fact that Brookhaven has a low inventory of suitable space.

“It’s a unique need we have,” said Garrett. “Our departments are so diverse. It’s hard to try to find one house to accommodate all of these. Not every mixed use tenant likes the idea of municipal courts. I’m looking at the option that everyone is under one roof. It may not be practical. I’m looking at other options too. But that is our goal.”
