Water Main Break Closes Clairmont Road

Clairmont Road was shut down in both directions due to a 30-inch water main break Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the 2900 block of Clairmont Road south of Century Center.

DeKalb County Water and Sewer are on the scene making repairs. However, work is expected to continue during afternoon rush hour traffic and into the late evening.

Brookhaven and county police are detouring traffic. Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area.
