Wanna Help Clean Up Briarwood Park?

DeKalb County could use a few more hands today.

Well, we got an e-mail late yesterday afternoon that 30 DeKalb County personnel from the parks, sanitation, and roads & drainage have set a major workday for today (Saturday, June 16.) Crews "will clear invasive plants and low hanging limbs from trees between the road and playground to provide line of sight for safety," according to the email forward to us by Jim Eyre of the Ashford Park Civic Association.

If anyone is interested in helping out, we're sure the DeKalb crews can always use volunteer labor. Volunteers should check in with Supervisor Alan.
