Poll: City Not Representing Most Voters on Pink Pony Lawsuit

A coalition of residents and homeowners associations paid for the professional poll.

Brookhaven's ongoing dispute with the Pink Pony strip club does not represent the majority of city voters, according to a new poll released last week.

About 62 percent of respondents to a survey paid for by a coalition of residents and homeowners associations said they do not believe city officials represent the will of the community of the issue, according to The Brookhaven Post.

A professional public opinion research firm, 20/20 Insight, LLC, performed the poll. The telephone poll ran for three days – 9/9 through 9/11 – with a random sampling of registered Brookhaven voters across all council districts participating.
