No Opponents File to Run Against Chamblee Incumbent Council Members

The District 2, District 3 and the Council At-Large council members were only candidates to submit paperwork.

Three Chamblee City Council members seeking to hold on to their seats were the only candidates to file for election, according to the city clerk's office.

Leslie C. Robson, District 2, Thomas Hogan, District 3, and Dan Zanger, Councilman At-Large, all qualified this week and were the only candidates who submitted qualifying paperwork. All three incumbents were first elected to their seats in 2007.

This is the city's first election since its annexation in January.Β  Residents in the newly annexed portion of Chamblee were unable to run for political office this year, but will be able to vote in November's election.
