New Police Officers in Brookhaven

The City of Brookhaven swore in some new members of its new police department.

Mayor J. Max Davis swore in some new members of the Brookhaven Police Department at the City Council meeting on Tuesday night.

Lt. Linda Burke, Srg. Tyrone Oliver, Srg. Mike Whittle, Srg. Eric Silveus, Srg. Antoine Redding, Srg. Jeff Vanaman, Srg. Shameta Harrell-Jones and Srg. Chris Shelton signed their oaths and will begin patrolling the City of Brookhaven on July 31.

"We appreciate your service to our new city, and we look forward to working with you and our community and neighbors do as well," Davis said.
