Legislation would make annexation of Murphey Candler, Silver Lake neighborhoods easier for the city of Dunwoody; could be done with City Council resolution and referendum.

Reps. Mike Jacobs (R-80) and Tom Taylor (R-79) have introduced new legislation that would make it easier forΒ  North Brookhaven neighborhoods of Murphey Candler and Silver Lake to merge with Dunwoody.

Jacobs that he may introduce a bill during this year's General Assembly to pave the way for Brookhaven to become its own city or to allow the unincorporated area just south of I-285 to annex with Dunwoody.
