MARTA to Modify Weekend Rail Service to Accommodate Scheduled Track Work

Customers are Advised to Allow Extra Time for Their Trip

In order to accommodate scheduled track work, MARTA will modify rail service on all lines on Saturday, February 19th and Sunday, February 20th.  Customers traveling this weekend are advised to please allow extra time for their trip.

Red Line trains will only operate between North Springs and Lindbergh; therefore, service between Lindbergh and Airport Stations will be running at a reduced frequency – every 20 minutes.  Customers traveling from North Springs will need to transfer to a Gold Line train at Lindbergh Station in order to continue southbound.  Customers traveling northbound from the Airport will need to transfer to a Red Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue to North Springs Station.  At East Point Station, all trains will board on the northbound platform.

On the Blue Line, West Lake Station customers will board trains on the eastbound platform on Saturday and on the westbound platform on Sunday with normal weekend frequency of 20 minutes. Green Line trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule.
