Incorporation Resolution Discussion Tabled Until November
The resolution of the board was one of 12 items on the agenda that was delayed until November's Board Meeting.
A resolution urging the formation of a study committe on annexation and incorporation of DeKalb County was postponed until next month.
DeKalb County Board of Commissioners said Tuesday they would discuss the matter, along with 11 other items up for decision by the board at the second commission meeting in November.
The move is a result of a plan introduced by District 2 Commissioner Jeff Rader who last week . He said the resolution would give the county a chance to review the consequences and study long-term sustainability of new cities in DeKalb County.
