Ground Broken For New Senior Center Located In Chamblee

The new north DeKalb center will be a 15,000-square-foot, state of the art facility.


DeKalb County broke ground last week on two new senior centers, one of them headquartered in Chamblee.

Ground was broken on the Chamblee facility on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Both centers will be state of the art, 15,000 square-foot-facilities with activities that promote healthy activities for seniors. The county said that seniors in both north and south DeKalb have been actively engaged in determining center programs and use of space.
