Early Voting Dates, Location Announced For Brookhaven Runoffs

Want to vote early for our first mayor and city council? Here's when, where and how.


Early voting for Brookhaven's runoff elections will run from Monday, Nov. 26, through Friday, Nov. 30 at the Voter Registration & Elections Office.

The office is located at 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300. Hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, each day.

Voters who wish to vote absentee by mail can submit their requests now through an application on the office's website, www.dekalbvotes.com.

Ballots must be returned to the office no later that 7 pm on election day, Tuesday, Dec. 4, to be counted.

Runoffs are being held for Brookhaven mayor, as well as city council seats in districts 1, 3 and 4. District 2 elected the city's first elected official in its history on Nov. 6, when Jim Eyre won the election with 55 percent of the vote.
