City of Brookhaven Holds First Open House

The event was held Wednesday afternoon.

The city of Brookhaven's first-ever open house drew more than 125 people from the building, development and contracting sectors, along with residents from DeKalb's newest and largest municipality.

The gathering was held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 2-3:30 pm, and focused on the city’s building, permitting, inspection and business license efforts.

Staff from the community development and finance departments answered questions from the audience on what will happen when the city takes these functions over from DeKalb County on Friday, Jan. 18.
