Chamblee City Council Set For Thursday Work Session

The city council will tackle issues like parking improvements and an arts initiative.

The Chamblee City Council will hold a work session at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, followed by the regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 21.

Both the work session and monthly meeting are held at the Civic Center (3540 Broad St.).

Some of the items on this month's work session agenda include a proposed 2013 annexation, streetscape improvements for Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, parking improvements for Peachtree Road, discussion related to Dynamo Swim Club and Mayor R. Eric Clarkson proposing a City of Chamblee Arts Initiative.
