What? you mean TWO people are running (so far) for District 1? How is that possible? I thought the 'fix' was in? and wait, what about the 3rd person talking about it? <note sarcasm>

Why is the term end year different for District 4 and 2?

Mr. KC, for the same reason that districts two, three, and four do not have the same amount of voters as district one has. It has to do with an old plumbing theory based on gravity . . . S%&* flows down hill. You know district one is not going to get the short end of the stick! Rep. Mike Jacobs may have a better answer for you, but the answer I gave you is the truth. Now, you want that special hamburger?

Well, so far looks like J. Max Davis is the only one running for mayor. Shall they be a Mayer running for mayor? Will the Mayer relinquish his power quietly? I will donate this slogan for no charge: It takes a Mayer to be mayor! Or, I am J. Max Davis and although I do not have any neighborhood or community experience, I can work you a deal on a bankruptcy! And, my buddy Mike can help you with your property tax protest! What a dynamic duo . . . So, which of these candidates have the backing of Brookhaven Yes? District one has two running. District two has none. RussellGuru, it could be all yours, baby! District three has three running. District four has three running. What? Mr. Dean is not involved? Ain’t this some FUD! You know Brookhaven Yes will be backing just one candidate per district, fess up if you know and spill the beans! Dirty is as dirty does! Man! What a wonderful special hamburger!

I'm new to this site but have been reading some of the comments. Who cares if Bookhaven Yes backs a candidate? Even if BY does not the people who busted their collective asses are free to do it. I've served for 20 + years in the military so that people can have the right to do whatever they want. Yep I voted for the city. Just a plain old dad working a hard ass job. I was sick and tired of the BS from the county. Dirty? If you had to line up what dirty politics was being done for the city vote you'd have a long long list for the no folks.
