Brookhaven’s mayor, city council, city manager and city clerk departed today to attend the Georgia Municipal Association conference in Savannah.
At the conference, Brookhaven leadership will attend classes on ethics, economic development, planning, utilities, open meetings and other municipal issues.
Council members are scheduled to return late Tuesday. The city council meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled to allow time for all members to return safely to Brookhaven.
