Brookhaven Defers Budget Vote

Voted deferred to Dec. 17; town hall on Monday, Dec. 16.

Originally scheduled to vote on the 2014 budget following a Dec. 10 public hearing, the Brookhaven City Council voted to defer adoption of the budget until Dec. 17, according to the city's Facebook page.

On Monday, the council will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. at Oglethorpe University.
