Brookhaven Cityhood Tops Senate Committee Agenda Tuesday
Committee could decide on Brookhaven cityhood bill Tuesday afternoon.
HB 636, a bill to allow for the creation of a new city charter in Brookhaven, is scheduled to top the agenda of the State and Local Governmental Operations Committee Tuesday, March 20.
The committee testimony on Monday, March 12 and will not allow any public comments during this meeting. The committee is expected to determine whether to pass the bill out of the Senate committee.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the State Captol in the Senate Mezzanine Room 1.
