Teenage Student with Guns Arrested near Chamblee Charter High

Suspended student allegedly stole the weapons with the intent to sell, not fire them.

Chamblee Charter High School was placed on temporary lockdown early Tuesday afternoon after a suspended 16-year-old student armed with multiple guns was arrested just outside the school.

According to the Chamblee police department, the juvenile, whose name has not been released, admitted that he had stolen the weapons earlier Tuesday from a nearby house.

He told authorities that he had no intent of using the guns and police believe he only wanted to sell them.
