Police Investigating Tuesday Morning Drew Valley Burglary

Witnesses saw two juveniles steal a TV, guitar and laptop from a Burch Circle home.

DeKalb police are investigating a Tuesday morning burglary in Brookhaven's Drew Valley neighborhood.

Police spokesperson Mekka Parrish said the call came out around 10 am at a Burch Circle residence.

"Police were notified by the alarm company after the alarm inside the home went off," she said. "After further investigation, officers spoke with a neighbor who said she observed a black car pull up to the residence and two juveniles got out and went into the backyard. The pair were later observed leaving the home with a TV and guitar."

Parrish said officers determined a laptop was also stolen from the location. No one was home at the time, she said.

Patch learned of the incident through Nextdoor Drew Valley, a message board for local residents. A resident who initially posted an alert about the incident said four individuals in a black, four-door sedan were involved in the burglary.
