Police Chief Hopefuls Need Not Apply...Yet

The Governor's Commission on Brookhaven's police committee is not accepting applications or resumes for police chief or police officer candidates.

The Governor's Commission on Brookhaven's police committee decided last week not to accept any resumes or applications from those hoping to become the city's next police chief or from anyone hoping just to be on the force.

JD Clockadale, the commission member who co-chairs the police committee said, “We are not going to take resumes and make a mistake where a resume wasn’t passed along and someone didn’t get a fair shot at being Chief of Police. Anyone who has will need to resubmit once the job posting for the Chief of Police has been officially announced.”

The announcement to not accept resumes is a safety precaution for both the committee members and the applicants.

This way, no resumes are lost along the way or are mistakenly forgotten.

Anyone who has applied must resubmit a resume when the positions are officially posted.

JD. I'll be back from YET ANOTHER clog in Brittany later this afternoon. I'll resend my resume then.

Thank you for not doing something that is not in your purview.

The non-elected have decided to be the ones to decide just who is to police us--- their governance's enforcers. Welcome to corporatist governance.

don Gabacho--Maybe you need to turn things around and move back to Mexico to keep an eye on THEM. Instead of THEM keeping an eye on you. THEY will never suspect that you would be that clever. Make sure you keep the light timer on so they think you are still in the house. Welcome to corporatise governance, por favor.
