Man Robs Peachtree Boulevard Gas Station at Gunpoint

A man robbed a gas station on Peachtree Boulevard at gunpoint last week, Chamblee police said.

The man walked into the BP station at 5018 Peachtree Boulevard, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money at about midnight Tuesday, the police report said.

Cobb County police believe the same suspect robbed a gas station in their jurisdiction 45 minutes later, and Rockdale County police believe he is responsible for another gas station robbery four days earlier, the report said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s with a thin build and a dark complexion. He also wore a black skull cap. Anyone with information is asked to call their local police jurisdiction by dialing 911.
